It is a   honor to talk about the evolution of art in the Dominican Republic, it should be noted regarding the development of modern Dominican painting that began in the early twentieth century by adopting new styles that seek to express the identity of the face of racial, geographic and historical. In 1939, with the arrival of Spanish artists and teachers to the Dominican Republic, was founded the National School of Fine Arts, later during the Trujillo dictatorship (which lasted from 1930-1960), is the stage from which emerge new artists, Between 50 and 60 emerging artists who contribute to develop the Dominican art. During the sixties, the transition from dictatorship to democracy produces work where everything is questioned, establishing the boundary between the modern and contemporary art production in the Dominican.

After completing his primary school, he moved to the capital city of Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic, where he entered the Academy of Civil Aviation and Commercial Alberto Santos Dumont, where he studied and graduated as a hostess.
